1st case: XXX and YYY told me that ZZZ is a *****. They gave me both the same example, so I dunno if I can trust it. But then looks can be deceiving. YYY also mentioned he was a flirt and said some stuff behind friends' backs.

Gah. Todays DOTA inter school was a complete disaster, imo.

This was the match-up:

CCHS(M):
QOP-Jian Yang
LOA-Jason Wong
Gorgon-Kai Jin
SK-Kong Jian
VS-Jing Xiang(correct spelling?)

Montford:
RK
Venomancer
THD
Warlock
Viper

Now, judging by match up alone, early game Montford has the advantage, and good early game=good late game; but if CCHS managed to hold out, they could pull out a counter with LOA supporting SK and QOP. But they didn't. In fact they got owned. Let's go to the laning match up:

TOP:
LOA, QOP vs. RK,Veno, THD

Employing an aggro 3 lane match ups, this allows 2 heros to solo and 3 heros to dominate the lane. However the plan is not without it's flaws and leave the soloers open to gangs. The 3-hero lane is also vulnerable seeing as how there's vs and sk. Jason and JY held their own quite okay seeing as their lane was horrible. The next two lanes were the weak links

MID:
Gorgon vs. Warlock

Bad, Bad Matchup. Chain+stats build for gorgon has no chance against Warlock, and an early 3 man gank left Warlock with the upper hand, and Warlock maintaining it with a combo of heal and harass. Better choice would be Silencer or Zeus or stealing THD from the other team

BOT:
SK,VS vs. Viper.

This would have been an easy matchup for a skilled viper. Seriously, with 2-3 bracers and Persv and tangos, SK can survive harass and whack harder, since the viper went for a DR aegis rush. The VS should have traveled to mid and bot ganking and harassing. However it appeared that the SK was insufficient and not skilled enough.


Overall
Poor showing by Gorgon. Gorgon wasn't good at helping the team overall, going for a radiance rush. Wraith bands, Euls, BKB would have been much better. Bracers,Maelstrom also work.
SK was also a poor showing. SK could've won Viper, even with corrosive skin. However, Jason made Kong Jian used SK, while he had been trying his intel and was therefore not smooth with his blinking.
LOA could been better. For a main battler support he could've gone Midas, BKB, Radiance.
None of the team was farmed enough for a Boots of Travel and BKB. The other team also bought daggers to escape the already unpolished SK.
VS very ke lian(pitiful), often making suicide swaps even without manta or bkb. The team could only grab 2 or 3 kills and had their team wiped out.

CCH was outfarmed and outlaned by some not too good players armed with sheer lane control and more powerful heroes. CCHS lacked disables. What could have become their moment of glory was their show of lack of co-ordination and weakness. The team switched heroes at the last minute, and had not played together enough. It showed in their matches and in the interschool match itself.

Jake has been recently interested in an anime called Ikkitousen. Loosely based on Romance of The Three Kingdoms, but set in High schools, and where all the characters are now females of extremely short skirts and gi-normous bust sizes. Personally, I can't stand it. It sounds(and looks) like it has a lot of panties in it. PantsMan advocates PANTS WEARING! Ahem.

I wanted to blog about my feelings on my ex classmates, but I couldn't bear to write it. It's so strange isn't it. I intended my blog to write my thoughts, but sometimes, I just can't write it down.

DUMMY UNITS!! Many more, here are just SOME examples

Frostmourne: The base ability is a debuff placing poison effect to produce the movement and attack speed reduction. When a trigger detects that the target has that debuff, a dummy unit casts Bloodlust on the attackers of that unit to provide the IMS and IAS bonus.

Charge of Darkness: When CoD is cast, a dummy unit with a 9999 AOE Endurance Aura that only affects heroes belonging to Barathrum's player is created. Over time, the level of this Endurance Aura is increased, to reflect the increasing movement speed.

Spin Web: A dummy unit with an Unholy Aura is created at the center of the Web, to provide the movement speed and HP regen in a 370 AOE.

Burrowstrike: A dummy unit casts an Impale in the direction of Crixalis' cast.

Epicenter: A dummy unit that is constantly centered on Crixalis repeatedly casts Thunderclap.

Time Walk: A dummy unit casts a damage-less Thunderclap at the point where Darkterror ends his teleport.

Upheaval: Dummy units cast Slow on units that walk within the AOE.

Illuminate: A dummy unit casts a Shockwave whose damage is calculated from how long Ezalor channeled.

Track: A dummy unit casts Bloodlust on Gondar to reflect the movement speed increase.

Dual Breath: One dummy unit to cast the Breath of Fire, another dummy unit to cast the Breath of Frost.

Auto Fire: A dummy unit with the Burning Oil passive attacks a random unit within Jakiro's range.

Macropyre: Dummy units cast a series of Flamestrikes.

Chain Frost: A dummy unit casts a splash-less Frost Nova on the targeted unit. Then, another dummy unit casts another Frost Nova at a random unit within 600 units of the previous target.

Ravage: Dummy units cast Impales radiating from Leviathan's position

Light Strike Array: This is more a case of NOT summoning a dummy unit. That is, LSA's base ability is Inferno, with a high-powered impact damage and a lengthy stun time. However, Inferno always has to summon a unit. In LSA's case, the unit expires immediately.

Scorched Earth: The base ability is low-powered Flamestrike. 2 dummy units are summoned at the center of the AOE - one with Endurance Aura to provide the IAS and IMS, and another with Unholy Aura to provide the HP regen.

Eclipse: Dummy units cast Lucent Beams on random targets. An oddity of Eclipse is that the dummy units use Lucent Beams that are different from the Lucent Beams used by Luna herself, and that these Beams can target Ancients, unlike Luna's Beams. Practically, this only really comes into play if Luna is attacking Roshan, where Eclipse can harm him while normal Beams can't, or if she's attacking Syllabear, where Eclipse's Beams will split among Sylla and his pet.

Earthbind: Dummy units cast Ensnares on all affected units.

Dispersion: Dummy units cast Storm Bolts on all affected units to produce the ministun.

Spectral Dagger: I'm not as clear on this one, but I believe that a dummy unit provides the speed bonus to Spectre in the same fashion as Charge of Darkness.

Leap: A dummy unit provides Mirana with an Endurance Aura similar to Charge of Darkness.

Berserker's Call: A dummy unit casts Inner Fire on Axe to provide the armor bonus.

Culling Blade: If the target is within the instant-kill threshold, a dummy unit deals 100 million damage to the target. In this case, a dummy unit has to be used, so that Axe can avoid any nasty damage return effects. While there is a 'kill-this-unit' trigger, it would not register a kill in Axe's credit.

Adaptive Strike: A dummy unit casts Storm Bolt on the target to produce the STR-dominant stun.

Requiem of Souls: Lots of dummy units in this one - one for each line of damage (up to 15 lines, 1 every 2 souls) that cast Carrion Swarms radiating outwards from Nevermore, then there are three types of Cripple to reduce movement and attack speed, with the level of Cripple depending on the distance of the unit from Nevermore.

Overgrowth: Dummy units cast Entangling Roots on all affected units.

Death Pulse: The base ability casts Fan of Knives that damage enemy units in the AOE. A dummy unit centered on Necrolyte simultaneously casts another Fan of Knives that deals negative damage to friendly units to produce the heal in the AOE.

Acid Spray: A dummy unit with a negative Devotion Aura centered on the AOE provides the armor reduction.

Freezing Field: Dummy units are randomly summoned in a 635 by 635 unit square around Rylai. These dummy units cast Frost Nova on each other, then enemies get caught by the splash damage.

Slithereen Crush: A dummy unit casts a Thunderclap simultaneously to produce the slow effect along with Crush's stun.

Song of the Siren: Dummy units cast Sleep on all affected units.

Sunder: A dummy unit casts a Storm Bolt on the target to produce the ministun.

Avalanche: A dummy unit casts Cluster Rockets on the targeted area.

Craggy Exterior: A dummy unit casts Storm Bolts on Tiny's attackers.

Grave Chill: The base ability is Cripple to produce the slow effect on the target. A dummy unit casts Bloodlust on Visage to produce the IMS and IAS effect.
