Post on politics and religion. Don't read if you're not into theses kind of stuff.
The current war on 'terror' isn't a war on 'terror' at all. How can one define such a vague concept such as 'terrorism'? The people who do it don't do it just to 'terrify' people. It's a war on religion. It's the Christians vs. the Muslims, and the Muslims against the World.
Bush is a devout Christian, and the majority of Americans are. Same goes for the Middle East. How is this not like the ancient crusades of old? How is it not like the Muslims assassinating enemies or plundering villages? This war on terror is nothing but a veil to continue the centuries old feud between two religions.
People like to say those Muslims are "extremists". In what way are they so extreme? All they do is take their holy book literally and believe what their religious leaders. Is that very extreme? A good percentage of people on this world do that. Merely taking out these so-called 'extremists' isn't nipping the problem in the bud.
Gah, and Singapore is also following on this 'war on terror'. But, in anycase, what can they do? Be sensible, or be the enemy. Singapore has been playing it safe and being nice to everybody since the racial riots. I guess it is up to the individual himself to see.
